Kenny Chesney is undeniably among the elite artists in the country music world. Perhaps the biggest indication of his success is the sale of Kenny Chesney tickets, considering he is one of the most in-demand touring acts out there. Now that Chesney has released his latest album, Hemingway's Whiskey, he took the next step by booking his first tour dates to support the release.

The tour will be called the Goin' Coastal Tour, and it will begin on March 19 at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. From there, he will hold one date in April at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. He picks up the tour again in June with stops in Washington, D.C.; Green Bay, Wis.; Philadelphia, Pa.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Kansas City, Mo.; Detroit Mich. and Foxboro, Mass. through August.

Chesney's star power also means he can rope in top stars to tour with him, and the red-hot Zac Brown Band will be joining Chesney for his tour dates. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Chesney said of his touring mate, "Every year we try and bring the biggest and best lineup for the fans. I think Zac's album is true to him and the fan base that he has built. His fans and mine will go hand in hand." Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker will also be part of the trek as openers.

The tour dates are simply whipped cream on top of the sundae of good news that has come from the release of Hemmingway's Whiskey. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 charts, selling more than 183,000 copies the first week, according to Nielson Soundscan. That kind of success isn't new for Chesney, considering it is his 10th consecutive album to achieve number one on the Billboard Country Album Chart.

Speaking of number ones, he has already had a number one hit with his first single off of the album, "The Boys of Fall." That single is his 20th number one single, dating back to his first number one, "She's Got It All." The album is his first studio album since 2008's Lucky Old Sun. He released a second greatest hits album in 2009, which also included new singles.

That single also spawned a football documentary of the same name, which was released on Nov. 9. The DVD is 90 minutes long and is exclusively sold at Walmart. The documentary goes behind the scenes with the top names in football, and it features such stars as Peyton Manning, Bill Parcells, Bobby Bowden, Joe Namath, John Madden, Tony Dungy, Nick Saban, Jim Tressel and others.

Chesney is likely to have similar success with his second single off of Hemmingway's Whiskey. The single is called "Somewhere with You," and Chesney spoke to Pollstar.com about the single and said, "So I knew I had something with this song." He continued, "It's so different but I still felt that it was really me. I felt melodically it was completely different and sexy." Chesney has had success with both fun-loving party songs along with heartfelt ballads, and his latest album seems to be following that pattern.
