If you own a small business you are looking for ways to advertise and market, but you realize you must save your cash flow to stay in business, then I have a pretty good idea for you and one that will help you advertise using a different venue, something unique that will capture customer's attention. This is a little trick I learned, from having been in the pressure washing industry before retirement. What I would do is I would clean customer's businesses and concrete.
Over the years, this was an excellent business, but I can remember one time when a customer would pay me for all the work I'd done after they had let their bill go for 160 days. So, I went over to their business, and I took my pressure washer and steam cleaner and I wrote in the concrete driveway (using giant clean spots as letters) leading into their business that they owed me money, and refused to pay.
The owner of the business, called me up at six in the morning when he went to work and told me to come pick up the check but only after I steam cleaned the entire driveway clean so that no one could see what I had written. He was frantic and it was an emergency that I come immediately before his customer started showing up at nine or 10 o'clock am.
This gave me the idea to start using a pressure washer to write in the concrete nice clean spots of messages that the businesses want to tell people. Such as; everything is 20% off today. Or we love our customers. Eventually I ended up making a lot of money doing pressure washer clean spot advertisements.
Still, the reason they were willing to pay me to do this is because it was a great way to advertise and it worked. You can do the same thing if you own a pressure washer and it won't cost you a dime. Just get out of front of your business and make a message to your customers. Please think on this.
