I know there are millions of people using Google Adwords, which makes it kind of hard for anyone new to jump right in and make money. I can show you another advertising search engine called Adbrite, it really easy, and it only takes a couple of minutes to get your account set up and making you money. Here is 3 easy ways for you to do so...
1. Start On AdBrite's Homepage. On their home page you want to click on the advertising button next to the website owners button. You don't have to sign up an account yet, but you can. Select these specific options for maximum exposure. You want to select text ads, because they are far more effective that any of the other advertising methods, through proven testing. Select to show your ad anywhere in the world, in any category and show your ad on all sites to both male and female and all ages.
The best way to have the best conversion rate and have more that click your ad to buy your product, is with targeted ads. This is where the keyword option will come into play. I would only use about 2 keywords. I know more keywords will target your ad better, but 2 will do perfectly. For example if your selling a home business (make money from home, and make money on the internet)
As you select these key options, you will see the "impressions per day" ticker on the right display millions of targeted impressions you will get.
2. Set You Budget. After you selected all your options for your ad, now the next screen allows you to set your budget and cost per click (CPC). AdBrite already displays a recommended CPC and daily budget based on your selections and keywords. That is what everyone will see that is advertising anything. Your CPC is a bid against everyone else advertising the same thing.
Most people will bid one cent over the recommended CPC and think they're smart, but everyone is doing that too. You need to bid in three's and seven's for example ($ 0.27) or ($ 0.33) which will set your bid above the rest. The really smart thing is to bid 10 cents above the recommended bid for maximum exposure. Put your daily budget where you can afford and after you make money you can keep raising it up and up.
3. Create Your Ad. Go on Google first, and type in the keywords you used and check out the ads on the first page of Google. You can copy any ad you want and use it in your AdBrite campaign. Copy them exactly because the people placing those ads that are showing up on Google's first page are definitely paying a lot to be there and wouldn't be there if they where not making money from it. So your using something that you know works, and the work is already done for you.
The next screen is where you can create your account if you haven't already done so and you will finish completing your campaign that will make you money.
