I have to tell you about one of the most underrated, yet most effective Marketing Strategies on the internet today, Forum Marketing. This Marketing Strategy is one that most of the experts in internet marketing use, but don’t like to share with anyone else. It is so powerful; they want to keep it a secret. I will change that. So here is a list of the steps it takes to use Forum Marketing to Generate Free Leads for your Internet Marketing Business.
1)Â Pick 2 or 3 Forums that you can post on daily
You should pick 2 “high traffic†forums and 1 that is niche specific. Spend as much time as you can on those forums that you pick. The more time you spend giving quality responses on other people’s topics, the more free leads you can generate. Now this will be time consuming, but it’s free!

Go to Google and type in: Site:.comâ€powered by vbulletin†Network Marketing (for different niches put your keyword where “network marketing†is)
2)Â Your Signature
Your signature is where you can put the link that you would like people to click. If you use your blog as a link, you can get backlinks from these forums. This is a very powerful Marketing Strategy for getting traffic to your blog. I won’t go into detail right now about backlinks, but they are excellent for SEO. So you bloggers out there can use Forum Marketing as well, for backlinks.
Alright now, back to your “Signatureâ€. I will show you how to access your signature in “the forum for warriorsâ€(wink wink), because it is probably the best forum for you to be active on.
First, register as, a member of the forum you pick, for personal branding reasons, use your name as your username. Second, login to the forum, find where you can edit your signature. You should always complete the rest of your profile and always have a good, professional picture.
Now in order to put a hyperlink in your signature, you will need to write a little code, do not get nervous, it is very easy and I will show you how to do it.

Ok, here is the Marketing Strategy you will use in Forum Marketing. You must start commenting on other people’s discussions. Read through them, find topics that are niche specific and answer questions that you can. Always post high quality content. Do you think people will be drawn to click your link if you just put something like “great post?†No, I promise you that they will not click. Be articulate, in your answers, share the knowledge. You want to show potential leads what you have to offer them. The more knowledgeable that you are, the more people will be interested in checking you out (click your link).
Once, you have commented on other people’s topics, you can start to create your own topics. Some of the forum’s, will not allow you to start your own topic, until you have commented on other topic’s.
