Have you ever said to yourself "I will do that tomorrow when it feels right?" Me too. It could be anything from going to the gym, working on a college project, or doing some work on my internet business.
You probably said to yourself you did not do these things because you were not ready, well the thing that sets you apart from the successful is that successful people take action before they feel ready. Don't get me wrong I still am developing this myself, it is not easy but once developed becomes as easy as it was to not take any action.
So how do you develop the action habit, my number one tip would be to take action every day however uncomfortable it feels, the more you do this the more comfortable it will become. When you take action everyday you will move closer to your goal which will then become easier and easier, why ? Because like anything that you repeat this taking action becomes a habit and once you get a habit you do not even think about it.
One example I can think of which explains this well is when I first started out as a sales person one of my duties was to do presentations in front of clients, when I first started out I would tell my mentor "Let me watch you do the seminar two or three more times and then I will be ready to do one on my own"
What I was saying to myself was this feels really uncomfortable I do not feel ready and because I kept delaying my turn I made myself feel even more uncomfortable, it is a bit like the flight or fight response which we all have in us.
The quicker you jump in and start taking action the quicker that it becomes a healthy habit. When you then start to achieve your goal your body rewards you by releasing serotonin your brains happy chemical.
Take Action Every Day
Small Steps towards your goal
Do not wait until you feel ready
Step out of your comfort zone
Develop your new action habit
Using these tips have helped me to move forward day by day in building my own internet marketing business. As one famous person said although I have forgot his name "Argue for your limitations and sure enough they're yours"
