Logo design is a graphical representation of your company's brand identity. It is composed of an icon, symbol, illustration or typography. It is the most creative of all graphic design processes. A logo design is a harmonious amalgam of technical knowledge, expertise and art. It plays a vital role in creating a visual impact on the minds of the prospective customers. Designing of a logo of a particular business requires extensive research on the target audience, nature of the business as well as various types of technical procedures used to create a logo.

The main purpose to design a logo is to allure and create a long lasting impression in the minds of the customers. A designer can accomplish this by designing clean, clear and striking logos that genuinely symbolize a company's core activities and reflect its aspirations. Therefore, a designer should keep the graphic emblem simple. He should avoid using lavish designs and colors. A simple graphic design is more comprehensible to a human mind rather than a set of complex designs. This also prevents from cramming of the alphabets and designs together. A simple design does not become problematic when printed on the business materials like document papers or corporate stationary. It saves the cost of printing as well. You can use a simple text if you want but use the typeface cleverly, so that it appears unique. A logo designer should undergo extensive research when he uses colors. Color in the logo makes it appear effervescent. However, different colors have different connotation for many people. A designer should study the geographic and psychographic of the company's target customers. He should have a thorough understanding of the potential customer's culture and the meaning of various colors in their minds. He should then apply the most appropriate color that also reflects the nature of the business of a company. The size of a logo should not be too big so that it cannot be reproduced on the corporate literature. It should not be very small so that it gives an unclear appearance. The size should be appropriate so that the logo appears visible clearly even at a distance and reproduced on any type of material.

Printing a well-designed logo by using a good logo creator on letterhead, envelopes, newsletters, press releases and other promotional items is more beneficial. The people are able to recognize your company's emblem everywhere and distinguish your product from your competitors.
