Dating for shy guys can be a difficult experience. Shy guys are often left on their own, frustrated by their inability to find a date while their friends all have a string of partners.
They always seem to take comfort in telling everyone how good they would be to a girl if they found one and what a nice guy they really are, and it may be true, but it doesn't get away from the fact that they are still on their own.
The problem is, these guys are just fooling themselves, and I will explain why.
The first thing is, saying what you are shy doesn't change the reality; just because you say you are shy doesn't make it any easier for people to accept, and it certainly doesn't turn you into the life and soul of the party.
Next, and more importantly, just because you are shy doesn't mean that the whole world is going to wait for you to make the first move. I'm afraid, the harsh reality of life is survival of the fittest. If you wait for things to come to you then you will usually be waiting in vain.
If you doubt what I am saying then think of the shy people who are happily in relationships, I'm willing to be that more of them are single than not.
Another problem with dating for shy guys is that traditionally , women are allowed to be shy, in fact many guys think this is a good thing in a girl, they see it as a challenge. Unfortunately it doesn't work the same in reverse. Being around a shy guy can also be uncomfortable for the woman I'm afraid. Long protracted silences, difficult conversation and of course this is only if you actually get speaking to each other in the first place.
So, if you are a shy guy, realise this, no one is going to go out of their way to help you I'm afraid. Its not like some physical disability that people can empathise with and offer help, in fact being a shy guy can sometimes be mistaken for someone who is weak, withdrawn or maybe even a bit arrogant. No, if you want to beat this problem, then its all down to you. You must take the first step, but the amazing thing is that dating for shy guys can be as simple as dating for everyone else if you get the right advice and put it into action.
