By the time your baby comes out, you will be in awe on how beautiful he can be with his cute tiny hands and feet. Since your baby will not remain cute and little forever, it is good to have something that will remind you of the feeling you had when you first saw him. Creating an imprint of his hand or foot is the best remembrance you can have. Read along and find some nice imprint ideas.

3D Kits are just one creative way keeping baby's memories in print. These kits are available in many craft shops and online stores. The kit comes with a gel that you will use to create a mold. To do this, apply the gel on the body part that you want to imprint and let it set. Once it sets, take it off and wash your baby's skin immediately. Transfer the mixture of plaster of Paris in the mold you just made. Remove the mixture from the mold as soon as it is dry. The easiest way for you to get your child's imprint on the gel is to do this while he is sleeping.

Imprint kits other than 3D kits are also available in the market. Its primary idea is to get your little angel's impression on the plaster of Paris. Simply pour the plaster mixture in the tin box and press both feet or hands on the mixture.

Do-it-yourself imprinting projects are fun to do and cheaper as well. You're going to need a tin box and some powdered plaster of Paris. Just add water to the plaster powder and place it in the tin. Then press the child's hand or foot against it.

Aside from 3D Kits and using plaster of Paris, getting an ink impression of your baby is also nice. This is cheaper compared to buying those kits. Simply press your child's hand or foot on an ink pad. Just make sure that it is baby safe and that the surface of his hand or foot is totally inked. Now, you stamp it on a clean paper with cute designs. Afterwards, you can have this ink print placed on a frame.

Some baby stores and glass art companies let you have your kid's impression etched on a piece of glass. You simply send them your baby's ink imprint and they'll send it back to you with the image beautifully drawn on a piece of glass. This is a great way to make keepsakes of your childs infant years.

Hopefully, you were able to get some ideas on how to create your child's imprint. You dont need to spend a lot and all need is a little artistic ability. Invite your friends over or make this as a family project with your spouse.
