You visit UK, or live in UK, you love a decent cup of tea you have come to the right place. I will show up some of favourite places in the UK for buying tea. You can buy and sit in some place that is a mixture of shops for enjoying tea, maybe you will find that some shop is online places, but in case you aren't near any of the actual shops. Now, enjoy yourself!

Tea Smith

First off is my all time favourite place to have a very special treat. Tea Smith is a great little shop in Spitalfields Market in London (6 Lamb Street, E1 6EA, Tel: 020 7247 1333). The owner sources all the tea himself and is quite and expert when it comes to choosing the best that there is available in the world today. I try a different one every time I visit. The tea is served at a specially made bar and you can sit and watch all the different types being made in different ways. Most are made in small pots, and because the quality of the teas are so high you get three pots for each set of leaves.

Tea Palace

The Tea Palace in Covent Garden (12 Covent Garden Market, WC2E 8RF Tel: 020 7836 6997) only sells the take away leaves, so you can't actually sit and have a cup of tea in the shop. This place is very popular with tourists and many of them order from the website once hey get back home. All produce is very high quality and the range is superb. Tea Palace goods can also be bought at Selfridges (400 Oxford Street, W1A 1AB) and Mitsukoshi (14-20 Regent Street, SW1Y 4PH).

yumchaa

Sticking with London, yumchaa (91/92 Camden Lock Place, Upper Walkway, West Yard, NW1 8AF & 45 Berwick Street, Soho, W1F 8SF) is another great place worth visiting for a delicious cup of tea and also for take-away leaves. Yumchaa also have a stall at Portobello Market on Saturdays.

Tea House Emporium

For those of you in the West Country, there is the Tea House Emporium in Bath (New Bond Street, Bath, Tel: 01225 334402). At ground level is the shop selling take-away loose tea. Downstairs is a tranquil hideaway where you can relax to a pot of delicious tea. They have a very large range of teas and all are of a very high quality. They also have a website where you can oder you tea online. Very useful if you don't live nearby.

Adagio Teas

Asagio Teas is an online store selling great teas, including black, oolong, green, white and herbal teas. They also sell a range of beautifil teaware. So now you have no excuse not to buy some great tea, whereever you are in the country.
