All the many types of carpet look and feel different from each other. If you go into a carpet store with little knowledge of the different carpeting styles, you will be confused by all the choices. Here is a small sampling of the selections you might find.
1. Saxony
The Saxony types of carpet include cut pile and textured cut pile. Patterned carpet may have separate patches of different pile levels, alternating cut or looped pile, or alternating naps. The effect is a pattern that can be both seen and felt. Patterned types of carpet can come in multi-colored styles or single colors. The way the carpet is constructed makes it less susceptible to obvious appearances of shoe prints and vacuuming marks.
7. Commercial Loop
