Hello Everyone,


My impetus for this strand comes from my recent and past experience with AdWords PPC. Two or three years ago with another MLM I tried AdWords and almost lost my shirt. I did not quit understand the ins and outs of such an involved system.


I started and stopped a number of campaigns with little or no success. I didn't exactly know how to watch the budget, nor did I know that your results were at least that your results were at least three hours different and was not real time results. I did not know about keywords and the roll they played in the ad being seen or not seen. As you can probably tell there was just a lot I didn't know. There was no one to tell me take my time, do free advertising first, or take a course with someone to learn about Pay Per Click Advertising.


As I went on with the PPC campaign I lost enough money to at this time make me shall we say somewhat skeptical? Well when this opportunity came along and I saw it was really a real-time and serious opportunity and not just another scam I was PPC shy. I started looking for free advertising, not so expensive , so I thought, advertising and anything that would not cost me money to promote this new opportunity.


As the first week went on, there were no referrals from my advertising efforts. The second week, no referrals. What was I doing wrong came to mind. I then began to read the strands of the forum this opportunity has and started realizing that PPC might still be the answer. Prior to this I began to write articles and submit them only to run into some snags until I figured out what I was doing. I wasn't being completely origin and not putting down my own thoughts. I started thinking if I'm having this trouble there must be other people having the same or similar troubles. So I decided to put my thoughts on paper(electronically that is.)


As I said I started thinking seriously about PPC advertising. I started a campaign based upon a new capture page I made because the first one I used did absolutely nothing. With this new capture page apparently Google liked it because I started getting a quality score of 5/10 then 8/10 and eventually some of my keywords got a 10/10 with was rated great with the QS filter in AdWords on.


I proceeded with this new campaign and on the first day got 15 sign ups or let's call them referrals or people who actually clicked on it and began the sign up process. They however got to a certain point and stopped and I was waiting for them to be confirmed but they as of this writing have not gone to their email and clicked on the confirmation email. I sent emails to the ones I could and prayed the others would confirm on their own. How this turns out will be the basis for my next article. None the less I now have 15 new signups and am waiting for confirmation on them.


My next move was to tweak my new capture page in an effort to better target my audience and to get more of those who clicked to sign up with my program. At this juncture I'm waiting to see what happens and as it progresses I will keep you informed through future articles. For now keep working towards your goals.
